Jamesburg NJ earns first Blue Ribbon School recognition
JAMESBURG – For the 1st time a person of the district’s two educational institutions was named a Blue Ribbon College.
John F. Kennedy Elementary School is one particular of only nine educational facilities in the Back garden Point out cited as an “Exemplary Accomplishment Gap Closing University” for 2021.

“Since we are such a very small minimal college,” Sanger explained. “And for us to close the hole, it is monumental. At times universities battle in distinctive parts. For us, we have a quite superior Hispanic population. So, we have a whole lot of English language discovering students and we shut the gap. So, we are 1 of nine faculties in New Jersey to get the blue ribbon and the only 1 of the nine in New Jersey to shut the hole.”

To celebrate, the district hosted a ceremony on March 22 and a parade on April 1. Every pupil was provided their have Blue Ribbon and made a heart depicting what they like about their small city. The hearts are now displayed on the partitions of the university.

For 2021, Walter M. Schirra Elementary University in Old Bridge acquired a Blue Ribbon designation, in the “Exemplary Superior Carrying out Schools” class.
