Central High School’s new president makes history

A native of Mount Ethereal, Davis became an educator in 2009. Prior to starting to be a principal at Henry, she served as co-principal at Warren G. Harding Middle School, a fellow at Cayuga Elementary Faculty and as a trainer and assistant principal in New York Town faculties.

At Henry, Davis led tutorial gains, diversified college faculty, garnered grants for arts and university services and preserved open communications with stakeholders.

Davis attended Henry as a university student ahead of matriculating to Central. She has an undergraduate diploma from Cornell College and a graduate diploma from Rate College.

“C.W. Henry is just one of the most effective K-8 universities in the city,” Davis stated. “We have an unbelievable workers, a lot of of them have been at Henry for the bulk of their occupations.

“I’m proud that Henry supports the function of instructors, honors college student voices and improves the diversity of our personnel and educating population,” Davis stated.

“It’s been an honor for me to guide the faculty alongside the guidance of Mount Ethereal and the parent and university student communities,” Davis included. “I’ll stay related with them. It is significant for me to make certain that I’m browsing and supporting them.”

Davis, who has hardly ever led a higher university before, stated her qualifications as an educator has organized her for her role at Central.
