LUBBOCK, Texas – The University of Central Arkansas Bears traveled to Lubbock, Texas for the Texas Tech Open at the Sports Performance Center. Day two has wrapped up.
Taylor Coleman broke the school record held by her in the women’s Triple Jump with a jump of 12.32m breaking her previous record by 0.20m. This is the second school record Coleman broke at the Texas Tech Open.
In the women’s 4×400 relay, the UCA team consisting of Talayssia Sanders, Tyler Rose, Zadie St. Louis, and Symone Quiles had a time of 3:51.00 breaking the school record by 0:00.29.
Kennedy Timmerman earned a 1st place win in the women’s 3000m with Sara Steimel in a close second.

In the women’s 800m dash, Zadie St. Louis placed 13th with a personal record time of 2:21.17. Anna Bommes placed 14th with a time of 2:22.84.
In the men’s 800m dash, Niklas Iking placed 8th with a time of 1:54.90.
Fionn Harrington placed 13th in the men’s Mile with a personal record time of 4:22.38.
Tyler Rose placed 28th in the women’s 200m dash with a personal record time of 24.99. Laila Cleare placed 36th with a personal record time of 25.247, Kendelle McCoy placed 54th with a time of 25.96, Ayana Harris placed 61st with a personal record time of 26.10, Z’Kiah Kuykendall placed 62nd with a time of 26.11, and Sierra Temple placed 67th with a time of 26.249.
Tristan LaVan placed 19th in the men’s 200m dash with a personal record time of 21.64. Alec Townsley placed 44th with a personal record time of 22.26, Kobe Gill placed 49th with a time of 22.45, Jordan Atkins placed 53rd with a personal record time of 22.515, Emmanuel Olie placed 60th with a time of 22.77, and Preston Barker placed 65th with a time of 22.96.
Kennedy Timmerman placed 1st in the women’s 3000m with a time of 10:35.98. Sara Steimel placed 2nd with a time of 10:49.36.
Julian Haessner placed 9th in the men’s 3000m with a time of 8:42.39.
