Due to the fact 2008, the HCPSEF has provided $216,432.32 to fund 862 trainer mini-grant proposals for nearby students in grades preK via 12. 

These “innovative and creative” classroom tasks, for which there is no funding in faculty board or school budgets, are produced possible by the ongoing generosity of group-minded folks and enterprises who help neighborhood community university pupils and lecturers. 

Teacher mini-grant donors for 2021-2022 are John Cannon, Debbie Ferguson, Heritage Pageant Committee, KeJaeh Enterprises, LLC, Mattioli Foundation/South Boston Speedway, Previous Dominion Electrical Cooperative and Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, gold stage and Comfort Units United states, Don and Audrey Davidson, Huber Engineered Woods, LLC and Northern Virginia Electric powered Cooperative, silver amount.

Larry Clark, HCPSEF govt director, expressed his appreciation to classroom lecturers who submitted requests and to the donors who make this program achievable. The mission of their basis to help community training in Halifax County remains their emphasis during these difficult times for both learners and teachers.
