Mission, B.C. parents say biracial child was singled out in slavery lesson

A few in Mission, B.C., is talking out after they say their youthful daughter was singled out in a lesson in kindergarten course.

The Mission Public Faculties informed World-wide News the incident was not reported to the school or district, but it is now investigating.

“Anti-racism and anti-oppression function is a critical element of our district’s social justice and equity get the job done,” it said in a statement.

Requested about the incident Wednesday, B.C. Instruction Minister Jennifer Whiteside described it as troubling.
