NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – A Connecticut trainer faces rates just after an alleged altercation with a university student at a magnet college in New Haven.
Jennifer Wells-Jackson, 49, was charged with danger of personal injury to a slight and next-diploma breach of peace.
Officers responded to the King/Robinson Interdistrict Magnet College on Tuesday close to 3:45 p.m. pursuing report of an assault. Wells-Jackson is accused of pulling the pupil by the hair.
In a video clip captured inside of college student Destinique James’ classroom, Wells-Jackson seems to be holding her by the hair as pupils cry for her to let go. She finally does, appearing to thrust James’ head in the method.
Destinique’s mother, Destinie James, mentioned her daughter advised her the intercom had just absent off, dismissing the pupils when it took place. Destinique said she still left faculty with a headache.
